We all grew up singing and listening to the iconic songs of Avril Lavigne and for every moment of our lives, there is a song that we can totally relate to, especially when your heart has broken into pieces because of that complicated relationship.

All of her songs are like a national anthem for us during the good old days. Now, we are not just able to hear and play her music through our gadgets, but we can watch Avril perform live!

Rejoice Avril Lavigne fans! Prepare your eyeliners and unleash the inner punk in you as the “Punk Pop Rock Princess” Avril Lavigne comes to Manila for a concert next year!

The exciting news was announced by Wilbros Live and Midas Promotions via a Facebook post.

The concert is part of the “Head Above Water World Tour” and it’s happening at the Araneta Coliseum on May 20, 2020 so make sure to mark those calendars!

The iconic 35 year old singer is known for the songs “Complicated”, “Sk8er Boi”, “Girlfriend”, “When You’re Gone”, “I’m With You”, “My Happy Ending”, “Keep Holding On” and a lot more. Her latest album is “Head Above Water” which was inspired by her own battle with Lyme disease as she was diagnosed with it back in December 2014.

The “Head Above Water” album contains 12 tracks including a song featuring Nicki Minaj, “Dumb Blonde.”

The Head Above Water tour is her sixth tour, marking her comeback in the music industry. Avril’s last visit here in the country was during her fourth Manila tour in February 2014 with her former husband, Chad Kroeger of Nickelback.

“I missed being up on stage in Asia, singing with you! It’s always brought me so much happiness which is why I’m so excited to come in 2020 for the Head Above Water world tour!”, the Punk princess said herself.

The price of the tickets has not yet been announced, but will go on sale starting December 21 on ticketnet.com.ph and TicketNet outlets.
