Our favorite Hollywood actress Emma Stone just said “Yes” to long time boyfriend David McCary last Wednesday after being together for two years. David is the writer of three-time Emmy nominee “Saturday Night Live” and director of famous comedy drama movie “Brigsby Bear”. He proudly shared the good news in Instagram, which ignited the whole social media world. The photo, where Emma was wearing a diamong ring, immediately circulated online and has gone trending. He simply captioned the post with heart emojis, which we find utterly cute.
Emma and David met when the former hosted the variety sketch series at the end of 2016. She starred in the sketch “Wells For Boys”, which was under the direction of David himself. They started dating in 2017. Although the love birds have been known to be a notoriously private couple, they have been spotted several times together; particularly in New York City while on a date.
David is a thirty four year old writer and director from San Diego, California. He is a close friend of Kyle Mooney, whom he co-founded comedy troupe “Good Neighbor” together with Nick Rutherford and Beck Bennett. He has been nominated for three consecutive years at the Emmy Awards as “Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series” from 2016 to 2018 for his work, “Saturday Night Live”. His first directorship work is in 2017 for movie “Brigsby Bear”. It was premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, in which Emma Stone attended. She and David were even spotted together with a group leaving the event altogether during that time. According to PEOPLE, David McCary is “low-key and doesn’t crave attention and is okay bouncing and doing something more chill.”
It could be recalled that Emma Stone used to be in a relationship for four years with her leading man at “The Amazing Spiderman”- Andrew Garfield.
