Bretman Rock asks for privacy as uninvited fans show up to their home asking for pictures

Bretman Rock Sacayanan, popularly known as Bretman Rock, is here in the Philippines for the wake of his father, Edmund Laforga.

The famous YouTube beauty vlogger was born in the Philippines, his parents are from Cagayan and when he was 8 he moved to Hawaii with his mother and sister.

The 21-year-old online sensation was dismayed over uninvited fans who gathered in their house and asked him to have a picture in the midst of their mourn.

On Thursday, November 21, the vlogger-influencer shared the reason of his stay here in the country and addressed the fans who invaded their supposed private time.

“Can people just let me be sad for onces… I’m here in the Philippines for my dad who just passed. Don’t come to my house and ask me for pictures. So many people showed up to my dad’s funeral uninvited and started taking pics of my dad and my family. Like, why? It’s common sense,” he tweeted as he pointed out the fans who showed up to their house in Laoag and started taking pictures of him and their family despite the situation.

In another tweet, he wrote, “I just don’t understand why people think it’s okay to ask me for pictures when my eyes are literally swollen from crying. How are you going to say, ‘Condolences, can we take a picture?”

Meanwhile, last November 6, Bretman announced the critical condition of his father when fans noticed that he is taking a break from social media.

“I just found out my dad is in a critical condition and is in acoma now… sorry I’m just kinda taken back and taking time for myself and family” he said.

His father’s death came after he was named Favorite Beauty Influencer of 2019 by E! People’s Choice Awards in Los Angeles, California last week. Bretman thanked his fans and his father who supported him, “I cannot believe I won @peopleschoice Beauty Influencer of the Year 2019 ?? this means the absolute world to me. Thank you to everyone who voted for me. I want to dedicate this award to my dad who has always supported and loved me unconditionally,”
