Bretman Rock asks for privacy, tells fans to stop taking pictures of him in his Dad’s funeral

YouTube beauty vlogger Bretman Rock recently asked for some privacy and respect as his fans showed up uninvited in his Dad’s funeral in Cagayan Valley, Philippines, and asked to take pictures with him.

“Can people just let me be sad for once,” Bretman Rock wrote on Twitter. “I’m here in the Philippines for my dad, who just passed, don’t come to my house and ask me for pictures. So many people showed up to my dad’s funeral uninvited and started taking pics of my dad and my family. Like why? It’s common sense.”

“I just don’t understand why people think it’s okay to ask me for pictures when my eyes are literally swollen from crying. How [are you] going to say ‘Condolences, can we take a picture?’” his other tweet regarding the matter wrote.

On November 6, Bretman said that his father, Edmund Laforga, was in a coma, replying to a fan asking why Rock hasn’t posted anything on Instagram.

On November 7, the Youtube star posted a heart and dove emoji, referring to his father’s passing.

On November 13, the influencer posted a series of Instagram stories, sharing that he is in the Philippines and is on his way to his father’s funeral.

Last November 19, some netizens spotted Rock in a shopping mall in Tuguegarao City, the city center of Cagayan.

Bretman was born in the Philippines. He has been based in Hawaii since he was eight years old.

The famous Youtuber, who was known for his wit and beauty video tutorials, has over 13 million followers on Instagram and over six million followers on YouTube.
