Beautiful actress Bea Alonzo is among the awardees of “The Asian Stars: Up Next” of the International Film Festival and Awards Macao and Variety. The grand celebration aims to give recognition and promote worthy “youngish” talents of Asian actors and actresses whom they believe possess the potential in marking their name in the world’s entertainment industry. The aim of the platform is to pave the way for Asian talents to be known not only in Asia but also in the whole world. Among their roster of previous awardees are Filipino celebrities Piolo Pascual and Anne Curtis last 2017. Bea expressed her utmost gratitude for her newest recognition, “I feel so grateful to even be recognized by a prestigious award. Parang malaking bagay siya kasi when you’re doing your films parang ‘di mo naiisip ‘yung ganyang klaseng validation, ‘di ba?”
Bea also took her heart’s overflowing gratitude in social media as she posted a dedicated photo for it on Instagram which she captioned, “What a great feeling to be recognized along with the other stars from different Asian countries for their body of work. Thank you @variety for the feature. I am beyond excited to be able to represent the Philippines in Macau this coming December.”
A few nights ago, Bea appeared as a special guest in famous late night talk show “Tonight With Boy Abunda” where she admitted that she hasn’t forgiven her ex-boyfriend Gerald Anderson yet, but she believes she will eventually do so in due time. “Tito Boy, kung tatanungin mo ko kung kailan? Hindi ko kayang sagutin, pero it’s part of the process, it’s part of my healing process,” Bea further elaborated.
Bea’s beautiful statement about forgiving was “Of course, kahit hindi hingin. I have to. Forgiving yourself and forgiving someone is about freeing yourself from all the baggage, from all the pain that you’ve gone through and just moving forward.”
