In the recent ABS-CBN Ball 2019, a gathering of Kapamilya stars for a cause, Isabelle was vision in her classic and simple blue terno and she just look classily stunning! What people don’t realize is that the story behind this classic terno Belle is wearing has a deeper and more personal meaning. Isabelle Daza known as a total It Girl, is the daughter of Ms. Gloria Diaz who won the title Miss Universe 1969. Belle revealed in her Instagram post that the iconic blue Filipiniana she wore at ABS-CBN Ball 2019, originally belongs to her mother Ms. Gloria Diaz. The blue Filipiniana is what Ms. Gloria Diaz worn as she crowns Sushmita Sen to be the Miss Universe 1994, alongside with the reigning Miss Universe Dayanara Torres.
The talk-of-the-town blue Filipiniana was created by the well-respected designer Pepito Albert. Belle shared this wonderful story on her Instagram account saying, “Wore my mom’s Filipiñana which she used to crown Ms.India in 1994, I feel like sustainable is the new vintage. Made by Peppito Albert #WhoWoreItAfter #abscbnball2019” and we can’t help but to admire Belle in supporting sustainable fashion and taking it up to a new level of appreciation.
