Who wouldn’t have heard of celebrity cutie James Reid? The twenty six year old half Australian actor, singer, songwriter, recording artist, dancer, model, and record producer have been making waves on national television since he entered “Big Brother’s House” last 2010 in its Teen Clash edition. James was named the “Big Winner” and this is where his story began. The young and multitalented celebrity’s entry to stardom didn’t seem so difficult because of his good looks and oozing charisma. Since then, James was featured in movies here and there: from “Diary ng Panget” to “Hopeless Romantic” and “Till I Met You”. Apart from his talents in acting, this handsome guy is also musically inclined. In fact, he has already released a total of three albums since 2013 under his own record label, Careless Music Manila.
It has been reported that James recently severed ties with Viva Artists Agency. In an exclusive interview with Inquirer Philippines, James shared his sentiments on being on his own and comanaging his career with his father. He thinks it would provide him freedom in the business but would also be difficult in terms of management assistance. Being the CEO of Careless Music Manila, James wants to focus on his music at the moment and see how far it goes. He expressed how great and at the same time scary it feels to be on his own, but also mentioned that he has big plans to progress his career in music even further. James’ most recent endorsement is Armitron Watches, to which he is the first Filipino endorser. The famous brand even named one of its watches after him.
When asked about the love of his life, James has nothing but praise to sexy and beautiful long time beau Nadine Lustre. He’s proud of Nadine for her recent “Best actress” award for their blockbuster movie “Never Not Love You”. He described his girlfriend as humble, hardworking, and a very strong woman. James mentioned that they prefer spending time together out of the country where not a lot of people recognize them as celebrities as this is where they could truly be themselves and enjoy privacy.
