Winona Ryder was seventeen years old when she played teen suicidal goth Lydia Deetz, the daughter of the Deetzes who helps the Maitlands try to scare off her parents. She eventually gets fed up with her fake friends though and ends up going with J.D., a new student of her school who ends up being incredibly psychotic, killing the students who bully Veronica and using Veronica as an accomplice without telling her firsthand.
