The story of “Hello, Love, Goodbye” evolves around the vibrant city of Hong Kong, where Joy (Kathryn), a domestic helper, meets the love of her life who also happens to be a Filipino working in Hong Kong.
In a press meeting last August 25, Kathryn admitted how happy and grateful she is to God due to the immense success of her newest project. She couldn’t believe how quickly it became popular not only in the Philippines but also internationally. She also said that she dedicates all her success to her fans who supported her all the way. Kathryn also expressed her gratitude to her boyfriend Daniel Padilla, as well to the fans of leading actor Alden Richards. This movie is the first ever Filipino masterpiece that was screened at the Dubai Opera in United Arab Emirates, where it also grew into immense popularity as it accumulated more or less a million dollars in a span of just a few weeks. The movie could also be seen in several other countries such as Canada, Amerika, Australia, Guam, Hong Kong, Brunei, Saipan, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, and New Zealand.
Meanwhile, several netizens are asking for a sequel due to the somewhat cliff-hanging ending of the film. Kath answered that she is open to this possibility as long as Direk Cathy allows it. Her leading man, Alden Richards, added that he is looking forward to “Hello, Love, Goodbye Part 2” if the circumstances permit.
