Swedish fast fashion giant H&M collaborated with its second Filipino model next to famous actress Nadine Lustre and it’s no other than the young basketball hottie Kobe Paras. The twenty two year old son of basketball celebrity Benjie Paras has proven his charm on and off court as he is launched as H&M’s newest face in its campaign called #KobeForHM.
The 6’6” U.P. Fighting Maroons champ shared snippets of his recent project with the fashion giant in his personal Instagram account expressing his excitement in this new collaboration. Kobe captioned one of his photos, “So happy to finally share with you all that I’ve teamed up with H&M for their latest menswear collection! Make sure to stay tuned on their Facebook and Twitter pages for updates!!” This sporty cutie was directly involved in every step of his new fashion venture. In fact, he actively selected the garments and even styled himself for the photo shoot. In the photo gallery, you can see Kobe’s athletic take on street wear. From hoodies, socks, t-shirts, and tinted lenses – his collection is that perfect, budget-friendly update for the everyday shirt-and-jeans get-up for most men. Kobe’s collection, #HMStyleToPlay, is now available in all H&M stores nationwide with prices starting from only P299. Indeed, it is a good start for the young basketball player to mark a milestone in his career as a model and endorser of an international fashion brand.
From University of California Los Angeles to Creighton University and Cal State Northridge, Kobe now currently plays for the most respected university in his homeland – the University of the Philippines. The good-looking athlete is the only active player scoring double figures in all his games in the whole UAAP Season 82 Tournament, leaving fans and analysts in awe.
