A leading travel and fashion magazine based in Dubai just released artsy photos of our ultimate celebrity crush – Alden Richards – as they debut their first ever male cover. Xpedition Magazine’s winter issue, “The King is an Island” is headlined by our “pambansang bae” looking like a dapper king as he poses for the camera whilst clad in stylish outfits and well-dressed hairstyles fit for a royal. The couture ensembles were made by famous designer Furne Amato while Alden’s hair and makeup was done by Carla Fuentes. Alden is introduced as a “Guinness World Record” holder for amassing forty million + tweets in a matter of a few hours for his former love team with “Yaya Dub” Maine Mendoza, better known as the iconic “Aldub”. Asia’s Multimedia King was described as “loved by everyone for his golden heart” who has an “unrivaled passion with his craft” and “acclaimed by his peers for his devotion to art” making him stand the test of time in the show business industry. The series of posts were complete with hashtags #AldenForXpeditionMagazine, #YugenPR, #NextToMissUniverse, and #XpeditionMagazine. Among their past covers include Filipinas Maxene Medina, Catriona Gray, and Maymay Entrata.

The photoshoot, done by Sam Coran was held at Movenpick Hotel Ibn Bartuta Gate Dubai and made possible by the efforts of Xpedition’s editor in chief Josh Yugen, creative director Furne Amato, assistant director Ian Borromeo, in partnership with GMA Network Artist Center. It was styled by Gwey Soriano. This issue will be released on December 20 but you may pre-order as early as now to make sure to get yourself a copy just in time for Christmas!

After eight long years of dedication and hard work in the bustling and dazzling world of showbiz, Alden now holds the title of portraying the lead role in the highest grossing film in the history of Philippine Box Office. His movie with Kathryn Bernardo, “Hello, Love, Goodbye” quickly grossed the charts in less than a month from its premier. Respected and adored by many, Alden is now one of the most highly acclaimed celebrities not only in the Philippines but also in foreign countries such as the United Arab Emirates.
