Presenting the Netflix Movies Perfect For Halloween

Whether it’s dark humor or slasher scenes, Halloween is perfect for those who love the suspense and thrill (or those who just like clinging on to their loved ones, because hey, that’s also where the Halloween spirit sparks — not gonna lie). And you know what’s the perfect thing to do to celebrate the perfect Halloween spirit? That would be to Netflix and watch these movies with a friend or the family at your side, because that’s obviously what’s going to make the scary season a ton more fun.

1. Dark Shadows.

It’s a Tim Burton movie with the perfect mixture of scary and humor starring none other than Johnny Depp who plays a man named Barnabas Collins who gets cursed to becoming a vampire and gets buried alive after breaking the heart of Angelique who is apparently a witch. Barnabas ends up waking after two centuries though, only to find himself in 1972 with the remaining members of his family, dysfunctional and his estate in ruin. If you’re into the laugh and screams, this is a move you just have to watch. It’s incredibly entertaining. Plus, it’s a Tim Burton movie with Johnny Depp! What else could you ask for?

2. Nightmare On Elm Street.

Into psychotic slasher films? Then you’ll definitely go crazy for this one.

The movie’s plot centers on the lives of teenagers who end up getting killed by a disfigured man by the name of Freddy Krueger in their dreams that kills them in reality as well. One teenager tries to unlock the mystery of Freddy Krueger with her boyfriend and as she tries to solve it, she figures her and her friends’ parents may actually know the secret behind the killer haunting their dreams.

3. Eerie.

Eerie right here is a local film which is why we figured that it deserves to be on the list. The drama-crime-horror movie starring Ms. Charo Santos-Concio and Bea Alonzo has been one of the best local horror movies that they even earned international recognition for it.

The movie tells the story of Pat Consolacion (Bea Alonzo) as she figures out the mystery behind the suicide of a student in the all-girls private school run by Catholic nuns she works at.

Surely, these movies will get you to scream, shout, and just enjoy Halloween! So may y’all have a merry Halloween!
