True friends support each other. That’s what friends are for, afterall. This is exactly what Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla did to their friends, Gabbi Garcia and Khalil Ramos for the premier of their upcoming movie, “LSS”, last Tuesday night at Trinoma Mall in Quezon City.

Kathniel arrived in the event in matching couple outfits sporting gray, black and white hues. Daniel was wearing a black leather jacket with a plain white t-shirt underneath while Kath paired a gray turtleneck top with a gray coat. Daniel accessorized his look with a pair of circular glasses with gold frames and reddish lenses. The film LSS or “last song syndrome” evolves about the story of best friends who shared a lot of memorable experiences about love, friends, life, and music. Sarah, whose character was portrayed by Gabbi, shares her lifelong dream to become a great musician to her bestfriend Zak (Khalil). In its trailer, the movie featured the soundtrack of local indie folk band, Ben & Ben’s hit song, “Ride Home”. It tells about the story of a girl who dreams about music, a boy who dreams of true love, and the band that brings them together. The movie is directed by Jade Castro and is one of the entries to this year’s “Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino”. Also featured in the film is of course, the band itself, Ben & Ben, consisting of nine members: Paolo and Miguel Guico on acoustic guitars and vocals, Poch Barretto on electric guitar, Jam Villanueva on drums, Agnes Reoma on bass, Patricia Lasaten on keyboards, Toni Muñoz and Andrew de Pano on percussions, and Keifer Cabugao on violin. The film will surely leave its viewers singing with songs originally composed and performed by the band, such as “Sunrise”, “Branches”, “Bibingka, Maybe the Night”, “Kathang Isip”, “Leaves”, “Fall”, “Mitsa”, and “Araw araw”.
