Ever since it started airing on national television last month, Maja Salvador again proves her acting prowess in her newest television drama series “The Killer Bride”. The show effortlessly climbed to the top spot of the rating ladder in a matter of weeks as it defeated rival GMA-7 teleserye “The Better Woman”.
Other famous celebrities in the primetime show include Maja Salvador’s distant relative Janella Salvador, Joshua Garcia, and Geoff Eigenmann. To give thanks and praise for bagging top ratings, the cast and crew of “The Killer Bride” decided to celebrate in the form of a holy thanksgiving mass last Thursday, exactly a month after the show’s premiere. Several television personalities and public figures attended the mass, including Ariella Arida, Eric Nicolas, Jobelle Salvador, Malou de Guzman, Miko Rava, Lara Quigaman, Neil Coleta, Pamu Pamorada, Keanna Reeves, Pepe Herrera, Vivoree, Loren Burgos, and Soliman Cruz.
Lead star Maja Salvador expressed her gratitude to all the supporters and televiewers of her newest project. She exclaimed that nothing beats the feeling of receiving a shower of unwavering support from fans since the show’s premier last August 12. This is precisely the reason why they wanted to throw a thanksgiving mass on the show’s first monthsary. To demonstrate their gratitude and reciprocate to fans, Maja promised even more fiery scenes every week as the story unfolds. Similar to her other popular prime time shows in the past such as “The Wildflower”, “The Killer Bride” is also packed with an explosive turn of events. Fans can expect more thrilling and exciting acts in each and every episode.
Meanwhile, co-star Janella Salvador also expressed her gratefulness for the overwhelming show of support from viewers both locally and internationally, as this is apparently one of the most challenging projects she has ever worked in.
“The Killer Bride” airs every 9:15 in the evening from Monday to Friday at ABS-CBN Channel 2 after hit primetime teleserye “The General’s Daughter”.
