Famous k-pop actor and celebrity heart throb Park Hae Jin rose to stardom for his supporting and leading roles in numerous Korean drama television series such as “My Love From the Star”, “Doctor Stranger”, “Bad Guys”, “Cheese in the Trap”, and “Man to Man”. He was recognized as “Best New Actor” at the 43rd Baeksang Arts Awards in South Korea. His first lead role is in the KBS youth drama show “Hot Blood”. The thirty six year old model is also an Honorary Firefighter at the National Emergency Management Agency in Korea.
Did you know that Park Hae Jin is also a charity advocate? In fact, he is dubbed as “Donation angel” in the South Korean entertainment industry. Through consistent generous donations to worthy causes, Park has donated a total of 1.7 billion won in several local and international charities since 2011. He is the 8th Korean celebrity member of the Honor Society by Community Chest of Korea; and has been awarded the “Happiness Sharer’s Award” or “Haengbok Nanuminsang” award by the Minister of Health and Welfare.

Last Saturday, the famous k-pop icon with a heart is in the Philippines to personally meet his Pinoy fans at the New Frontier Theater in Cubao, Quezon City. The generous actor wishes to give back some love to his followers; hence he serenaded them with one of his favorite Backstreet Boys song, “As Long As You Love Me”. He also tried a couple of Filipino dishes such as “adobo” and “lechon manok”, which he both enjoyed. The famous celebrity expressed his love to the Filipinos by saying that he will definitely come back.
