Dubbed as the Philippines’ “Popstar royalty”, Sarah Geronimo has played several roles in her life. She is a singer, actress, model, dancer, brand ambassador, and now also an entrepreneur. Due to her widespread popularity, every song, endorsement and performance by the “Popstar Princess” seems to create buzz on the internet, especially on social media.

Last Sunday, Sarah rocked the “ASAP Natin ‘To” stage with an opening act as she sang the popular OPM hit song “Narda” by Filipino rock band “Kamikazee”. As the lyrics go, the song is about someone hoping for his biggest crush – no other than the Filipino comic superhero, “Darna” to notice his admiration and infatuation for her. This song is originally performed by the ever popular OPM rock ground “Kamikazee”, comprising of Jay Contreras as lead vocals, Jomal Linao on guitar and vocals, Led Tuyay as guitarist, Puto Astete as bassist, and Bords Burdeos on drums. Kamikaze was formed in the year 2000 and savored everlasting fame for fifteen long years and even more. Like co-musician Sarah Geronimo, the rock band was dearly loved by millions of Filipinos all over the world. They played their farewell concert on December 2015 at The SMART Araneta Coliseum where thousands of fans showed unwavering support.

Sarah was wearing a metallic long sleeved top underneath a leather vest and paired with leather trousers as she delivered the powerful song live on studio. She had several backup dancers who gave the performance even more energy as the audience were clapping and shouting for joy. Sarah is the girlfriend of popular Filipino-Italian TV host, model, restauranteur, and actor Matteo Guidicelli. She was awarded “Pinoy Wannabe Awardee” at the Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards last 2005.
